Review on OXO Thermal Mug SimplyClean Lid Kitchen & Dining by Melissa Hart

I started using it as soon as it arrived. I'm impressed with the lid - it opens and closes easily, but they give you specific instructions on how to keep it clean and how to clean it so the seal stays tight. I love dark turquoise/green. I think they call it "cobalt". In any case, this seems to be a very solid company. Haven't tried drinking anything hot out of it yet, but I've had cold juice in it since yesterday and it's still cold. I wouldn't say it's cold, but it's definitely colder than room temperature. That's more than I can say of many competitors. I feel like it's very similar to the Contigo except I prefer the OXO lid design to the various Contigo lids I have. Contigo lids are usually hard to keep clean if you're drinking something like Bolthouse Farms or Naked Juice from them (juices, which are many different fruits or vegetables made into juice and of course made from very small fruit or chunks of veggies. Generally just a thicker juice that doesn't always just rinse off.) Contigo closures, like the designs they call "Autoseal" or "Autopop" are more like devices that IMO are great for drinking but not so good when it comes to cleaning.
