I bought this microphone because I make videos on YouTube and I needed something that would give me better sound quality than a microphone for a webcam. Knowing nothing about mics and not wanting to spend hundreds of dollars on a Yeti and all the accessories, I stumbled across this guy. I have to say I'm really excited about the sound! USB powered, plug and play, so nothing special to configure; just plug it in and off you go. It's a tough little bug and not easily knocked over. It also doesn't pick up extraneous noise, which is nice. My kids are mostly running around screaming and laughing, the stove is on (the office is in the basement) and I forget to turn off the sound on my phone. Nothing. It only picks up sounds right in front of it, so if you're speaking, what it picks up will be you. Recommend this microphone!
