We have tried many different stay training platforms and benches and this is by far the best. It's very durable, doesn't wobble, yet is light enough to easily remove and store away after your workout. I also think the color blue is helpful as it is attractive to many dogs. You can also chain the two together without tools to create a longer descent station. The small handle on the side works well for me, although it does get tight for someone with large hands. Our dog mistakes any cloth mat for a chew toy, so we do lots of exercise with platforms instead. This model suited us very well and we bought a second one when it was on sale. I know it's overpriced for a lot of people, but if you can afford it, it's a very solid and well-designed device.
