Good as a safety net or for beginners.
We bought these for players just starting out in softball. They are efficient and economical. They would also be a good backup if something happened to the other chin strap and one of those was needed in a pinch. Pros: They're cheap but work well, are customizable for different players, and are great for beginners or substitutes. Gear Cons: The latch is plastic, so if it cracks or breaks it's impossible to repair (but cost-wise, that's not a problem).
- This new chin strap offers a more comfortable and customized fit with a new chin cup design. That chin cup still helps keep the helmet in place while hitting bases and running.
