The hinge is bent. I tried to straighten it - tightened and loosened the hinge. As a result, it broke. The case itself is a good size for large sunglasses - and is nice - except it's not as pretty with the elastic strap. The elastic works to keep it closed, but the elastics actually break, so I'm always looking for the right elastic to "mimic" it when it's "put together".
