The red piece on the back of the boot came off immediately when I pulled to put the boot on. Doesn't affect shoe performance but should be better. It can turn off as if it was knocked. Get what you pay for. The sole of the shoe appears to be made out of plastic rather than rubber. But the shoes look good for the price. I wouldn't trust them to run where I need real grip but for the price I can't lose
