BEWARE OF COUNTERFEIT

So I used to order a 1 gram tube of Kyronaut to replace the old outdated Arctic Silver I was using. At first I wasn't thrilled with the amount of work it took me to half take the rig apart, clean it, attach new materials and find that my pace was about the same as it was. If there was an improvement, it was insignificant. I bought this tube a month ago so I'll have it when I assemble another or take this setup apart. Well, my MOBO RGB lighting failed, so yesterday when I was inspecting the PCB for any outward signs of bad parts, I took the opportunity to scrape off all the old paste and try again, this time with a different tube. I found that when TG KRYONAUT IS A NON-HEALING COMBINATION, part of the past is actually HEALED. (Huge RED FLAG) I was a bit confused and looked it up but like a little thing wiped it off and applied the new material. I'm not going to say that this paste is some kind of miracle solution because it isn't, but I will say I'm completely satisfied with the NEW results. Previously idle temps with the dodgy TG Kryo were 33-37C at 8700K, 1,360V at 5.1GHz and could go up in game until the mid 80's. For 8700k in terms of speed and tension in the S340 elite case and 240mm ayo I found them not ideal but tolerable. Now nothing has changed except reapplying the compound and reinstalling the processor unit. My temperature is now 10-15 degrees cooler than before which is great. Idle temp is now around 23 degrees, and in Cinebench with no AVX offset it climbs to around 85. In BFV and the like it's closer to the low 60s-70s. So the connection is a great thing, you really do get what you pay for, but I am adamant that the first whistle I got was a fake or counterfeit. Knowing that this site has issues with fake colognes and the like, it's entirely possible, and the evidence suggests it did. My rating of the first tube I bought will be updated accordingly.
