Description of Heatsink for SSD ESPADA ESP-R1, black

P/N 664849Aluminum heatsink for NGFF 2280 will reduce the temperature of M.2 NGFF devices, thereby increasing the stability and reliability of its operation. Made of high quality thermally conductive aluminium. The kit includes a thermally conductive one that provides a tighter, more secure fit of the NGFF module to the radiator, thereby increasing heat dissipation and 3 fixing rubber bands.

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

Total: - 37° idle. In progress 47° When I opened the package, I thought it was empty. This plate is so small, in fact, like the M.2 itself, but the disk is completely covered. True, I had to disassemble the system unit, remove the video card, but I cleaned it =) I had to disassemble the system 2 times. I forgot to put a thermal pad o_o

Pros
  • • Easy to install • Everything is working • Revealed - 15°
Cons
  • No

An ideal product for any type of consumer.

The rubber bands in the kit do not inspire confidence, pulled it off with clamps. Threw off 11 degrees with Kingston NV1 500 GB. I carefully removed the sticker from the drive, in the warranty case it is glued back and surrendered. More than satisfied with the result!

We conclude: Just a radiator that works. Its pros: The order arrived right on time. Installation took ten minutes. Does its job perfectly. Cons: The height of the ribs could be made 1.5-2 mm larger to increase the area of dissipation of thermal energy, without loss in vlazimost (scientific term) between the rest of the components.

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

Assembled elementarily. Remove the protective strips from the thermal pad. Attached to disk. We glue the radiator on top and insure it with rubber bands. The thickness of the thermal pad from the kit is 1mm.

Pros
  • Cheap and angry. At the same time, with quite decent efficiency for such sizes.
Cons
  • I don't know how long the rubber bands in the kit will last. Time will show.

Good product at a good price, I recommend to try it.

The bundled double-sided thermal tape is a complete , since its thermal conductivity is very low, and it does not transfer the required amount of heat from the chips to the heatsink. As a result, the temperature almost did not change with him, well, maybe by 1-2 degrees. I had to cut it off in those places where there is contact with the chips, and smear thermal paste instead, and I advise a good one, I applied it with a thermal conductivity of 8.1. And only after that, the radiator began to…

Pros
  • Lowered the temperature by 7 degrees
Cons
  • I expected 10-15 degrees of decline

Not the best quality, but generally not bad.

Can be installed in a laptop, for this you need to make a hole in the lid (laptop thickness 20 mm). Under load at +27, the temperature of the Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500 GB was +65, it became +58.

Great quality, did not expect at all for the price.

Got pros: Very good value for money. With the task of cooling ssd perfectly copes. Even with active cooling, there is a very large difference in temperatures. Under full load with a constant airflow above 45-50 degrees, none of the 8 SSDs heated up (for comparison, without radiators with a constant airflow, the temperatures went over 55-60). Has some cons: : I found that the rubber bands on all radiators dried out and burst in 2 months. Those. The heatsink on an SSD no longer holds anything in

There are deviations, in general it is tolerable.

I tested the load in the Crystal Disk program, a Samsung 980 pro hard drive. At the beginning of the first run, the temperatures of the memory chips were a pleasant surprise, by the end they were almost equal to the results without a heatsink. On the second run, they were only 3 degrees lower than without the heatsink. Under load in the test without a heatsink 67, with a heatsink 64. The memory controller without a heatsink was 90, now it's 75, it's already better here. Definitely better to…

Pros
  • Helped reduce the temperature of the memory controllers
Cons
  • Just 3 degrees lowered the temperature of the memory chips

I decided to take a new SSD to my laptop to reduce heat. The radiator in a thin laptop will not work. As a result, I used a thermal pad on the reverse side - to the motherboard. I didn’t bother with temperature measurement either before or after. Pros below: Everything is as it is. Thermal pad, radiator, rubber bands. For little money - cheap and cheerful, performs the function. Other options are much more expensive. Cons below: IMHO, not for laptops. If it’s flat to a regular motherboard…
