UPDATE: Well it turns out the lever falling caused a leak and dripped oil onto my desk. Here is the customer service saga: 12/17/20: Customer service was contacted via a form on their website. The next day I received a reply asking for photos. 1/5/21: photos sent, been busy on public holidays. 1/26/21: No reply received, follow-up email sent. They said they have confirmed the problem and will send a replacement, they asked for a name/address/phone/order number. I replied with this information on the same day. 3/17/21: No response yet and replacement, follow-up email sent. /26/21: Pending response and replacement, follow up email sent, rating changed to 1 star here due to non-response from customer service. This. I was looking for something that would support a 32" monitor and came in a satin nickel finish. I am very happy with it. I installed mine through a hole in the table with a grommet and it is very durable. I have a 32" curved gaming monitor and a 23" second monitor and I can position them exactly how I want with little effort and it has rid my entire desk surface of monitor stands. Installation/assembly was easy. A nice touch is that it comes with a set of screws of various lengths and thread sizes in case you don't have the original screws that came with the monitor to attach the VESA mounting plates. Mounting plate on the monitor, which can be done on the table or on the floor, and then simply fix this mounting plate to the bracket, which makes it easy to mount monitors on the brackets. The clamp itself has little rotational play. , but once you line up and align the monitor position, it stays (although you may have to realign it if you hit it). Cable routing is clean and tidy. The cable channels on the underside of the mounts fully detach, allowing you to easily thread cables through and then snap them back in place. Spring arm tension is easily adjusted with hex head screws on each arm. I had a monitor dip after a few weeks but a quick setup got it back to where it should be and after that it was fine for a few more weeks. Fingers crossed that this was just a matter of voting and not an indication of a possible failure in the future. :)
