Gift I bought this to use as a power source for a micro USB power bank for Bluetooth transmitters/headphones for my TV in the bedroom. I have a notorious insomnia and watch TV at all times of the night. I use headphones so the TV volume doesn't disturb my roommate. My TV doesn't have Bluetooth so I bought a transmitter to get rid of the headphone wires. The problem was that there was no other way to keep the transmitter charged other than plugging it into my TV's USB port, which was fine, but then it only charged when the TV was on. There isn't an outlet near my TV to plug in the transmitter charger so it can charge when the TV is off, so that's where it happens. I like that it's smaller because my TV stand doesn't have much room for a bunch of cables/plugs or more. It fits well and the cord is more than enough to reach the outlet. There are only 3 sockets, but nothing else needs to be connected. So the problem is solved. If there was a minus point, I'd say I wish it had a micro-USB connector or plugs, but these days almost everyone has a ton of micro-USB chargers from other devices lying around the Pi, so it wasn't a major one Meaning . Happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone who just needs a basic secondary outlet.
