Hammer arrived in excellent condition. Bought for work and brought to the store. After two days of use in a sheet metal workshop, the head showed signs of detaching from the shaft. Overall, after about 10-15 hours of operation/use, the head was easily removed by hand and no longer usable. While it was still attached, it was a big hammer. But for less than 24 hours usage, it costs a lot for half day usage. After the rest of the magazine was filled with laughter, the hammer head was welded onto the steel shaft. Now it works surprisingly well, even better than originally! The extra weight is useful with thicker metal and now it won't break easily! 2 stars for the cleanly detachable yet usable head. That, too, could end up being quite dangerous, the head not being fastened well enough for the rigors of a tin shop. Would buy again just to fit a new grip, the stock does the job but is NOT attached very well. Be extremely careful with this tool!
