My new favorite hammer!

I ordered this hammer for the small ironwork I do, but turns out this little 1-3/4 lb for its size can actually move steel! The face is already rounded so you don't have to put it down like other hammers, you can just take it out of the box and hit it. Very high quality and very little if any shocking. I can only recommend this hammer! To update. I had to round up the favorite a bit, but that's okay.

Great hammer if you are just starting out with HVAC

Great hammer for the price add it to your list, wait until it's on sale it doesn't beat them Standard Malco plumber forging hammer so the spine isn't as long or curved as the Malco but it swings better and the flat head is perfect for air ducts. off the neck and add some grip, it's not pretty anymore but I'm rough with tools and it's good.

  • Great price

It looks like a serious tool

There's not much to say about a hammer, but it's a good example of this type of instrument. Well balanced head and good but not excessive grip length. The head seems very well attached, and the handle is made of a very grippy, non-slip rubbery(?) coating material applied to wood or fiberglass. And the weight is more than adequate for tasks where you don't need or want to land massive hits. The head weight is listed as 0.661 pounds, which is approximately 10.6 ounces. (300 grams). But the hammer

This colleague sheet metal processing APPROVED!

This hammer is amazing. I'm a 2nd (almost 3rd) year student with the Local 9th Sheet Metal Workers Union and I have to say this is a terrific sheet metal hammer. The rubber does a great job of minimizing vibration during use. I bought a 12 ounce hammer and it works fine on up to 18 gauge sheet metal, but it takes a little more effort to set my Pittsburghs. I would recommend going for 18 oz if you are working with a lot of 20-18 gauge metal or thicker. 12 oz is ideal for 24-20 gauge metal. I…

Poor build quality, dangerous to use, but the head is awesome!

Hammer arrived in excellent condition. Bought for work and brought to the store. After two days of use in a sheet metal workshop, the head showed signs of detaching from the shaft. Overall, after about 10-15 hours of operation/use, the head was easily removed by hand and no longer usable. While it was still attached, it was a big hammer. But for less than 24 hours usage, it costs a lot for half day usage. After the rest of the magazine was filled with laughter, the hammer head was welded onto…
