This colleague sheet metal processing APPROVED!

This hammer is amazing. I'm a 2nd (almost 3rd) year student with the Local 9th Sheet Metal Workers Union and I have to say this is a terrific sheet metal hammer. The rubber does a great job of minimizing vibration during use. I bought a 12 ounce hammer and it works fine on up to 18 gauge sheet metal, but it takes a little more effort to set my Pittsburghs. I would recommend going for 18 oz if you are working with a lot of 20-18 gauge metal or thicker. 12 oz is ideal for 24-20 gauge metal. I work most of the time with electroplating and about 50% of the time with steel. As a tinsmith, I endorse this hammer. Please inform your Tin Hammer friends. 3 years with my hammer and my elbow doesn't burn, the rubber still fits like new and the hammer works wonders. I actually buy the 18 oz because I am currently working with too much 18 gauge metal and will definitely make it less tiring.
