Revainrating 3 out of 5

The W60P is a great base, but make sure you get it!

5 stars for the product 1 star for the seller I bought a W60P base station and 3 W56H handsets and paid for next day delivery. Delivery was great but when I opened the package the next day it contained 3 phones and a W56P base not W60P as I ordered. Since there were only a few minor differences between the W56P and W60P, I figured what I got would still work. Unfortunately the W56P was not compatible with my phone provider but the W60P I had to get was. I have contacted Revain and am in the process of returning the W56P base but wanted to leave a review to warn others to review the base model after sending it to you. It may not be the W60P you expect. I also noticed that right out of the box the W56P base had light scratch marks and a blue mark (maybe paint?) on the top of the base. It wasn't anything serious and it wasn't anything that caused the device to malfunction, but it was definitely not a new device. The tube that came with the base was also missing a bit of foam between the tube and the battery box, making the initial battery installation more difficult than it should be (and a lot more difficult than the other three tubes I received). Problems, got my W60P through another supplier and the base itself is great! Registering the handsets to the base is very easy and takes about a minute or two. I connected a W60P to our Yealink T46G and they work very well together. It was almost plug and play to set everything up and I would definitely recommend these phones to anyone looking to upgrade their phone system with a nice phone setup. Just make sure you get the exact model you order! Pros: - Can support up to 8 W56P phones. I currently have 4 connected to mine but they all ring together and can be answered by any handset. You have the option to transfer calls between handsets or have multiple people (on different handsets) on the same call at the same time. One handset can even talk to a person on a line while the other handset can make other calls at the same time. I show 3 separate lines that can be switched between for incoming and outgoing calls. The user interface of the included W56H handset is user-friendly and easy to use. I haven't had any lags or freezes yet. I didn't get lost in the menu looking for a specific setting either. Everything looks very simple and clear. Perfect match for Yealink T46G phone. All 4 phones that I connected to the W60P base ring at the same time as the T46G and calls can be answered or made on any of the phones. Cons: - I received a W56P base, not a W60P base. This caused me a big problem during installation after I found out that in my case W56P is not even supported by my phone company. The base I received wasn't even new. It has definitely been used by someone before. It could even have been repaired, but there was some minor cosmetic damage upon first unboxing. The base W60P can only update the firmware of one phone at a time, and it took me about 15-20 minutes to update the firmware on each phone (at 300Mbps). download speed). This can be a time consuming process when registering multiple handsets to one base. A little expensive for cell phones. It has some really nice features and a slick user interface, but it's a bit pricey compared to some other cordless phones. All in all I definitely recommend the W60P and the W56H which they bundle with it. I would even recommend the W56P base if it wasn't compatible with my phone provider. Just check the model you actually get and make sure it's compatible with your ISP. Once set up properly, this is a great phone system!
