We used this at my parents house. One of the posts at the end of her railing is only half of the railing in the wall. I guess it's my fault I didn't get it, but there's no way to attach it to this post, meaning there's an open hole my daughter is still sticking her head in. However, this kept her from the rest of the news. It wasn't that difficult to install. We ended up using all the zips and ignoring the rope they provided (we were afraid the kid would untie them). We also had to use some of the zip ties we had for the thicker top step railing as it would take about 4 of the ones they provided to get around it. I wish they had provided some longer ones as well.
