Review on Coros PACE 2 Premium GPS Sport Watch With Nylon Or Silicone Band by James Chandran

Bad choice for pelvic training

I'm a triathlete with small wrists. I bought this model to replace a Garmin 920XT whose altimeter failed again. I love the look of this watch but for me it has two fatal flaws and will keep coming back. It can't track rest intervals when swimming in the pool, meaning your rest interval will be treated as a swim for any interval workout. This is a big problem for me as it adds your rest intervals to your average pace and gives you an inflated number. The other downside is the lack of a training mode - meaning kicks only count as time - it looks like you're not moving at all because your arms aren't moving. These features are standard on Garmin watches. Walking around with the watch is fine - the buttons are a bit finicky but I think I'll get used to it over time. But the lack of an RI record and a swim training program in the pool really sets me apart.
