I bought three bags for a trip to Big Bear Lake and expected some of them to go bad. But he was still a little more fragile than I thought. It was snowing when we got there so it was convenient, they were easy to install but they tend to loosen after a few miles and I had to keep stopping to tighten them. And to make matters worse, the pulleys got damaged when they came loose and I had to cut a couple of them off with a military knife and put new ones on. Above all, the good thing is that they are easy to put on, but also easy to mis-tighten and damage. A map with more specific directions would be helpful e.g. B. Place the front band before the spoke and the rear band after the spoke and position the pulleys closer to the center of the wheel. With some experience and care in positioning the straps, they will still run a few miles and then one or two will come loose and start hitting the wheel fenders. If you are purchasing this I would recommend purchasing a pair of thin and durable waterproof work gloves to use during installation. They are indispensable in cold and wet conditions. Thin gloves would be a problem when working with ribbons. After counting the damage I lost 5 of them. I wouldn't return the rest and plan to just use them on my next trip. But I will definitely not buy again. Much luck.
