Toilet pen (as opposed to brush) is new to me, but I didn't know what to do with a tampon after use. I didn't want to drip it on the floor. Fuuuu. So I bought this overpriced piece of plastic (I knew it was overpriced from the start but didn't see any alternatives) and did what a reviewer recommended by placing the cup on top and the tampon on the bottom. I gently twist the tampon to separate the strands and then hang it to air dry. Works perfectly. One star deduction for the price. Come on people. 50 cents worth of plastic.
