Bought these corduroy pants for my 13 year old son who is about 5ft 2" and very skinny. The adjustable waist is perfect as it gives room to grow - it allows me to adjust the pants to his waist and the length of the pants is perfect, the pants have an extra length which I liked so your child could wear more of them can wear up he gets older. Good material and they have a nice slim fit. The velvet material wasn't as thick as expected but I will definitely buy it again.
