Not what it was designed for, but a beloved pair of handmade slippers completely saved!
These suede sheets are amazing. I made a pair of knitted felt slippers for someone and they liked them so much they wore the bottom entirely out of them - holes in both the back of the head and the ball of the foot. I didn't know what else to try so here's what I did. I cut the sheet and placed one layer inside the slipper with the sticky side and the other sticky side up on the outside of the slipper. It worked wonderfully! The edges didn't fold or chip, which I feared. The material is nice and soft on the foot!
