Does not meet my requirements

The device is made with impressive quality. The power cord is VERY good. However, the device did not meet my requirements. This may work for different applications but mine didn't work. My problem is that I have a dirty AC network, probably like most household services. Please refer to the spectral analysis shown in the photo. Here you can see that the fundamental frequency of 60 Hz is in the foreground, as it should be. Note, however, that the components that produce the square wave are also visible, i.e. odd harmonics appearing at 180 Hz (3x), 300 Hz (5x), 420 Hz (7x) and above. A pure sine wave has ONLY the fundamental. Frequencies that go beyond this (harmonics) distort the sine function. An effective AC line filter eliminates these harmonics. I don't necessarily expect a pure sine wave AC mains signal from the utility (although that would be VERY nice). So I have to live with what I have and fix it where I can. The APC C2 Power Filter is advertised as a Power Isolation Filter to eliminate EMI/RFI as a source of audio and video degradation. I can't answer its effectiveness against things like Ham Radio Operators (HAM) where signals can be in the hundreds of kilohertz range. But what I can tell is that the device acts as a PASS-THRU device for signals below 1kHz, as shown in the accompanying spectrum analysis. Completely useless for my application.
