I needed to take the temperature of a sheep on a farm but didn't have a thermometer. My husband chose one for me. I go out into the field to take my temperature and find that the thermometer is not digital. (I know I should have taken it out of its case and looked at it.) I haven't used a non-digital thermometer in decades. Also, I didn't have my own readers, so I couldn't read it even if I could remember how to read it properly. I went in and immediately went to Revane to find a digital thermometer that should be arriving in a few days. viola, done! The clinical thermometer is coming. This time I look at the thermometer. Everything looks ready. It came with a battery. Went out again to check the ram temp and succeeded! Super easy to use. Remove the cover, press the button (it should have an "L" on it) and insert the thermometer. I had a fever for about 8 seconds. There is also a nice pocket to store it when not in use. I definitely recommend it.
