So far this has been the best I have done for my indoor turtle tank. It leaves enough room for my fast growing baby barnacles to swim and also provides enough space to swim. no Bathroom sink. when they climb it. Literally my only complaint is that my little friend loves to sunbathe so much that he has adopted it and won't let his big sister near him when he's there. no reason to complain, she usually misbehaves in the water so this pier helped him gain confidence. : I also appreciate that the bottom stays well enough in the water for the plecos to settle down and hide in a nice dark place, away from my cat's prying eyes. I was concerned that the turtles would make such a mess that the dock would start to deteriorate or get slimy, but when I installed it I also replaced their substrate with sand (pool sand from a household store, rinsed thoroughly) and I didn't have no problems. In fact, this is the largest and cleanest aquarium they've ever had. I believe with proper care I will have this dock for years to come and am really looking forward to installing it in the pond I will eventually make for these little guys. . For anyone worried about investing, I highly recommend getting one if you can afford it. You will end up spending more on many other docks that will only disappoint you. If the dimensions of this dock fit your aquarium or pond, it's worth it and your barnacle kids will love you!
