We bought this for our daughter and we still use it. We baked four loaves and apart from adding too much salt to one, the other three were fine. Good mix, good rise, good baking. Baked evenly along the entire length. When researching (too much) about bread makers, I noticed complaints about the noise level. I don't think this is loud. If you have an open kitchen where your worktop is 6 feet from your sofa, you won't like a breadmaker running while you're sitting on the sofa, but this one was surprisingly quiet compared to the one I had before years. My reason for 4 stars: the lazy cookbook that comes with it. It has multiple recipes and some of the instructions are for their larger and more customizable machine. I called and was able to get hold of a member of staff quickly and she explained that you just have to set it to the type of bread you are baking and the baking time will be right. So far, so good.
