Review on 🖍️ Derwent Drawing Pencils and Accessories Set - Soft, 6 Count in Metal Tin, Red - 0701089 by Doris Tran

This set has great colors and if you plan to (just) paint with them you're sure to love them. I love Derwent but this time I'm not happy with them. I bought several old pencils separately from many years ago and based on my experience with them I decided to buy a new set. Unfortunately this new set isn't as soft and creamy as before, if you mix materials and are looking for crayons that melt like butter with a little water, look elsewhere. That's why I bought them, but unfortunately they don't compare to the old Derwent drawing. The old ones completely dissolved in water, almost like watercolor pencils, or soft like pastels. Instead, they leave marks and lines on the paper no matter how hard you try to smudge. All in all I can still use them for drawing and so can you! But I wasted the same qualities and characteristics of the old ones. So! If you like drawing pencils I'm sure you'll love these, but if you're looking for them for the same reason I am, let's find something else.
