I would give it a 5 but I have a problem with the paper used in this particular book that I have not experienced with Color Me 1,2,3. This paper is nice and thick, single sided and doesn't show through the other side when using markers, but feels more "porous" than previous books. I tried 4 different brands of markers. The markers I use are not the cheap brands you buy at the department store, they are high quality markers. Markers I've used with stripes: ZIG Clean Color Real Brush (my absolute favorite!) Tomboy Acid Free AB BrushFaber Castell PITT Brush Marvy LePlume III artist pen loves the pictures in all the Color Me books! But I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed with the paper and its response to my markers. Since I don't draw with a pencil, the quality of the paper and the result when using markers are very important to me.
