I have Color Me 2 so I've spoiled myself with this new addition. Here are adult coloring books with small figures and repeating patterns; they don't relax. When you need a few hours of distraction, this coloring book will help you while away the time. Enjoy!

I love this book! As an intermediate colorist, I find these books by Pamela Smart perfect to help me learn more and improve my skills. At the same time, they are quite simple even for a child. High quality paper and spiral binding. A great addition to any coloring book library or a first book for beginners. I have all four of her current books and will definitely buy anything else she writes.

This adult coloring book is really good. They are set up with one image per side, meaning the back of each image is blank. This is great if you like using markers. I'm not an artist so they help with a little creative outlet. The main reason I bought and tried it is for stress/anxiety relief. They're great for that. The second is just for me. Take prismacolor colored pencils with you. It's worth the extra dollars.

I have all 4 books in this series. Highly recommended for all ages who love to paint. Regardless of their age, this book (and the others in this series) will truly appeal to everyone. Whether simple relaxation or simple painting pleasure, these pages are impressive. The paper they are printed on can be mounted for framing once completed. Ideal for all mediums such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, markers, colored markers, gels, colored pencils or colored pencils.

I would give it a 5 but I have a problem with the paper used in this particular book that I have not experienced with Color Me 1,2,3. This paper is nice and thick, single sided and doesn't show through the other side when using markers, but feels more "porous" than previous books. I tried 4 different brands of markers. My sister bought me this coloring book from Whole Foods for Christmas and as soon as I opened it I knew I would love to color in it. I used to draw in Joanna Basford's coloring books and still love her art, but Pamela Smart seems to have a sensitivity to ordinary dyes, not the people classified as "artists".
