My shoulder-length hair is thin and completely straight. Wow, this comb is fantastic. Made entirely out of plastic, yet is of high quality. It's comfortable in your palm, and it works beautifully on both dry and wet hair. The comb does not scratch my scalp, therefore I can use it as a massage tool by walking vigorously over my entire head. It's a huge benefit that there's a covering to keep everything safe (by the way, it closes very tightly and sits firmly). Not everyone can guess what it is just by looking at it, which is part of why I think its design is so interesting. But for her, I would gladly try out other TT combs, as the price is a bit steep.
