Maybe I'm dumb but I make a living doing stuff like this, albeit not of this model/brand. When I think of a mesh network, I think of an expander that does NOT create a separate network. Example: MyWifiNetwork_EXT. It's not a network. The mesh should connect and then just be invisible while the existing mesh expands. I added this easily with WPS but it doesn't work as a mesh and the only reason I bought this item is to have a mesh network. The packaging and description says you can easily switch between places in your house where you have them and of course you could probably do that if it was REALLY the same network and NOT _EXT. Look elsewhere, this product is the same as other brands, cheaper options. I can't believe I made the mistake of only recommending mesh networks to my customers. UPDATE: I checked in the app and unfortunately it seems my router doesn't support its "OneMesh" format. I updated my star rating as it was easy to set up and since I only use it for cameras it works well but you can still find a cheaper option with the same speed.
