Review on πŸ”Œ Hatsan TactAir Spark PCP Compressor – Portable Solution for Airgun Enthusiasts by Justin Metz

Excellent portable compressor

I can't say enough about this little compressor. It's small, light and works great. I've had adult airguns since the 90's. I've hand inflated all my PCPs since I bought my first Air Force pump around 2000 or 2001. I was strong and liked pumping up a huge tank on the Talon SS. I considered it part of my strength and cardio routine. 20 years later, aging and multiple injuries to my shoulder and arm led to me selling all the PCPs I had about a year ago because I couldn't pump them anymore. I only left the PROD because I could run it through and push its tiny little cylinder to around 2500psi. I looked for compressors but they were heavy, dirty and expensive. I didn't feel like getting into tanks. Now I've found this little compressor gem. He is tiny and weighs about 12 pounds. Has an integrated carry handle. It just works. It takes my PROD from 1200 to 2900 psi in just a few minutes. That's great. The meter reads very close to my PROD meter. The temperature sensor is accurate and works great. Just follow the instructions and don't overheat it. It's air-cooled. Always turn on the fan before turning on the compressor, and then turn off the fan after turning off the compressor. I am so pleased with this item that I have just ordered a couple more PCP pistols. I can't believe compressors have progressed to the point where they are small, light and affordable. It's a bit noisy when connected to my truck's battery in a closed garage. But it's not that bad, and from the outside it's not a problem. This thing currently runs under 350. It's a steal at this price point. Haven't had it that long so I don't know about durability and customer service. But right now, I've never been happier with an airgun purchase in decades. This was a game changer for me.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not everything fits
