Speed . about the same as others I've used.

I have 2 more types of these discs. Everyone uses this J micron chipset. When unboxed and used for the first time, it gets extra points for its nice clean design, unique bracket and rubber bushing for NVME drive mounting. Standard USB 2.0 cable. So all in all a recommendable article. If you want to use this to change or update a single m.2 nvme on a system (laptop) etc. the only way I've found is to image it in say Acronis by typing in Boot your Windows PE environment. .Of course, you can use this device as a slave device to receive an image. The problem with Samsung's cloning software is that it looks for its "Samsung name" on the drive. All USB solutions I know of do not transfer any information and the software recognizes it as a SCSI drive. Honestly, that's something Samsung could fix if they were inclined.
