We don't currently have a dog but we have two cats who regularly make a huge mess around their toilet. They throw trash everywhere and sometimes they miss a box and leave another mess on the floor. They're too big for standard or even large litter boxes, so we put her XL litter box in this kennel and she'll handle the mess just fine.
