It would appear that many have complaints regarding the wheel; therefore, you should determine for yourself whether or not to take a mouse; regardless of your choice, I will purchase another one since. With the exception of indestructible office mice, I have not yet encountered a mouse that can be relied upon (they have limited dpi and no side buttons, so they disappear as candidates). Many advantages: A wonderful sensor that can be purchased at a fair price and will last for two years. The wire does not have any knots in it. Con: After a half year of use, the wheel started to become dull. Thankfully, there is software that can alter the dpi change to scrolling, switch off scrolling in one direction, and turn scrolling off entirely. Not on fire, but it worked wonderfully. Surprisingly, the right button was the source of the issues that started in the second year. I did not check in a number of games before making my decision, but taking into consideration the wheel, I chose to switch mice. The coating has developed a glossy appearance in the areas where people have pressed the buttons. When the sides become blocked with waste from the body, I clean them frequently.
