The biggest plus is that it fits the cat well and she doesn't mind wearing it. Her legs dangle limply as I put it on her. If you make it too tight she will just fall over, she won't be able to move. If it's comfortable (a bit slack) they can break the harness when the leash is tightened either in the front or the back. Because of this, I continue to use the harness but keep it on a retractable leash that I never tighten. Another thing, the velcro gets clogged with car hair after a while, but the closure works great, it just means you can't adjust the tightness.
