Firstly if you have never used a steam mop it is not meant for heavy duty work. I have young children so we tend to mess up more than usual and the food can get tough pretty quickly. These or other strong stains are not easy to remove. It's meant for light things. So I usually do a quick spot check and use a spray cleaner and paper towel for tough stuff. Anyway, this steam mop is really great and I only have 1 negative + compact + stands upright so you don't have to lean it against anything + starts steaming quickly after turning it on + the water tank is vertical so you don't have to fill it up put the floor The only thing that bothers me is that the power cord is very short. 2 bed 2 bath apartment and the other mops I've used use 1 outlet with no problem. I have to use 2, technically 3, to get those last few inches he can't. There is now a larger version with more cord length, but a few extra feet would be much better.
