Small means small on my review.

Bought the wrong size at first, the small one would maybe work for a guinea pig or kitten. Regular size cat should probably go for a medium. I have two smaller cats so I went ahead and kept the small cone too. It worked well for my boy to keep him away from his eye. It was easy to put on and take off.

Pros

I needed something to block my cat when I clip her nails. This works perfectly.

Cons

May prevent pets from being able to eat or drink comfortably
