Review on 🪑 Hastings Antique Brown Backless Vanity Stool by Hillsdale Furniture by Martha Lieras

This is a nice stool that fits perfectly in our newly renovated bathroom. It's going to be great, but not without problems. The first stool we received had a scratch on the seat, was missing a washer and was uneven when assembled causing it to wobble on wood and tile surfaces. On a positive note, the customer service to resolve these issues was outstanding. The seller quickly sent a replacement stool and didn't ask to return the first one (saves us the hassle). We gifted it to our daughter who will use it on the carpet and touch up the scratch if she cares. The replacement stool was also uneven when assembled (although not as bad as the first one) but didn't have any other issues so we fixed that by adding some washers between the seat and one of the legs in the assembly. What might otherwise appear like a quality stool is disappointing in that we had to improvise when assembling it. As we have just received it I can't comment on its durability but it looks sturdy and looks very stylish. Incidentally, both boxes were sealed with tape as if they had been previously opened, which led us to believe that we had received previously opened/returned items. I would recommend this stool but be prepared to jump through some hoops if necessary.
