Edit: people complain about the price but you know the price before you buy the unit. These people are just stupid. It is not made in any welding factory in China or India. And it's not made of toxic plastic. It's made in the USA, where people have to make a living, and it's made of metal. There really isn't much out there that has these 2 qualities. If you want cheap Chinese plastic, buy cheap Chinese goods. So far I like the device very much. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs. I have a feeling it affects the air quality. I leave mine down at 3 and it's not very loud. 5 is the highest setting and is loud compared to levels 1-3. However, this is the highest setting, so that's to be expected. Preferences: 1. Made in USA2. Made of metal 3. German motor 4. Very easy to use and very simple design. This will limit the problems, there really isn't much that can go wrong with this thing.5. 10 year guarantee6. Releases a lot of fresh air. The air intake is a large front grille with 3 outlets (1 on each side and top). Good design. Cons: Not very good. I think you get a very well made, simple product from the USA. And many other air purifiers with this level of quality cost the same price or more. I will update this review if anything else comes up.
