I tried a total of 4 webcams in the $25-$35 price range. All have acceptable video quality, but this one had the best audio quality. The first one I tried made me sound like I was in a box, the other two were very quiet and picked up background noise when I turned up the volume. This one sounded the best I tested. The picture was also a bit closer than the others. I don't have to brag about a lot of backgrounds and video calls, it's usually just a small thumbnail anyway. The closer the better. I have returned the others and will be ordering a second of these webcams for my home office. The only issue was the protective case, which was simply stuck on with cheap double-sided tape, but that wasn't nearly as important as the excellent video and audio quality for this price point.
