This dress is well made. Daughter said the velvet upper is comfortable and warm. The skirt falls beautifully, although it's a little shorter than my daughter's other dresses. However, after trying on the dress, my daughter found that the mesh of the skirt is very stiff and uncomfortable when she sits down. Also, the sizing is a bit off. I ordered size 8. My daughter's bust and waist are 23 1/8 inches. The dress fit her just right. I wanted this dress to fit her this winter but if she grows at all it will be small. So I will return. As I said, this is a beautiful dress, so if you decide to buy it, you can go up a size. Also, if your child is sensitive to coarse fabrics/crinolines, this dress may not suit them.
