Review on 🔵 TIG Welding Tungsten Electrodes 2% Lanthanated (WL20, Blue) 10-Pack - 3/32 Inch by Jair Baltrusch

As a 4th place welder of Sprint auto chassis in the SkillsUSA National Welding Competition, I did a lot of research to determine what type of tungsten is best. From my research, 2% lanthanum is the best tungsten next to E3 which is a mixture of 1.5% lanthanum with a few other rare earth elements. If you want something that will work just as well on DC as 2% thorium and will also work great on AC, this is what you should buy. I gave my colleagues a couple of electrodes to test last week and we can't find any minor differences from the E3. I think E3 might have slightly better heat resistance, but it's very difficult to quantify, and 2% La tungsten is a lot cheaper here.
