The fan is pleasantly quiet. It generates an amazing amount of airflow for its size. Mostly just a personal fan. I don't think it's going to do much for a whole room or for a few people, but if you need something just for yourself, that's great! I use it in my office. So I can regulate my temperature well. He is small and unobtrusive. It's been working great for me for a few months!
