Review on πŸ”Š Jeep Grand Cherokee Dash Speakers Tweeters - Compatible with 1999-2004 WJ Grand Cherokee - JGCParts CTEC sV2 by Charles Mathews

The terminals touch the magnet and broke off when bent

I had problems even before I connected them. The instructions actually say that the clamps do not touch the magnet. Of course, they all touched the magnet. Why? I have no idea. So I had to bend all the clamps away from the magnets. On one of the speakers, the piece holding the positive and negative leads broke when I flipped the lead away from the magnet. They have a lifetime guarantee and I believe they will replace them if I insist, but I don't feel like waiting another week so I just taped everything around. The cover material also came from the same speaker. I keep my fingers crossed. I can't compare them to stock speakers as they were already blown when I bought the Jeep. But they sound very different from the Powerbass speakers I used to install (and I can't recommend them because one of them exploded just out of warranty). In any case, they are MUCH brighter than the power bass. I bought a couple of tweeters to install as the highs are missing in the woofers. I don't need to do it now, they have a lot of high end. I hope they last but they come with a lifetime guarantee which is why I bought them. I gave 3 stars because of problems with the terminal. 4 stars for the sound. 5 stars for easy installation
