Great sound at a great price

If you own a WJ Grand Cherokee, you know that stock tweeters are a big problem. I ordered them and installed them in less than 15 minutes and they sound MUCH better than stock. My only complaint is that they don't come with bass blockers.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Something different

AMAZING so far. in coaxial speakers

Why didn't I buy them sooner? Fits perfectly in my 2001 wj jeep. It's only day one but the sound is amazing and way better than the junk that's sold in these jeeps. Unbelievable price. I'll check again in a few months so you know how they hold up.

Good value for $

Used on WJ Jeep 99 to replace an aftermarket that blew up. Went ahead and replaced both with these new speakers. For their size, these speakers deliver impressive sound quality when used with other speakers in a complete system. They connect to the Jeep WJ without any modifications.

  • New

JGC Customer Service

I have a 2002 Grand Cherokee (WJ). I took the Powerbass versions, they lasted 6 years, then I got these two years ago. The sound quality is good for a 2.75" full range speaker and yes the system sends the whole frequency range to them so don't buy tweeters. The product is good but one of the speakers failed and JGC took care of me and i mean fast.thanks to this seller so buy with confidence when you need a 2.75 full range driver for jeep when yours inevitably breaks down.

Easy install great sound and amazing lifetime guarantee

I've had these speakers for about a week now and I have to say I'm really impressed. I'm quite a versatile listener so I've played a variety of genres and they all sound great. I can't believe how loud they get while still having a clear sound. JGCParts have truly made a wonderful product and I would recommend these speakers to absolutely anyone. Installation Notes: If you think these speakers are difficult to install, you are wrong. I was able to remove the old one and install the new one inโ€ฆ

I had to twist the plastic case for plug and play

Put them on today. The white plastic "Plug and Play" connector for the original connector was too small for standard connectors with metal wires (inside the plastic housing). They slid well until you had to insert a clip to allow the rest to fit the metal joint. Two metal OE connectors kept hitting the plastic inside the replacement, preventing the connection from being securely fastened. I reconnected the OE speakers and the connection was correct every time. I took a screwdriver and continued

Easy install great sound

My 2000 Grand Cherokee has factory Infinity speakers. The tweeters needed to be replaced as they were dirty and messy at best and ruined the rest of the system. especially when the volume was turned up. I chose them because of the price and the reviews, I'm very glad I did because the build quality seems to be high and the sound quality is amazing. I was expecting a lower sound quality, but I think technological advances have improved over the past 17 years. Installation took only 15 minutes: -

The terminals touch the magnet and broke off when bent

I had problems even before I connected them. The instructions actually say that the clamps do not touch the magnet. Of course, they all touched the magnet. Why? I have no idea. So I had to bend all the clamps away from the magnets. On one of the speakers, the piece holding the positive and negative leads broke when I flipped the lead away from the magnet. They have a lifetime guarantee and I believe they will replace them if I insist, but I don't feel like waiting another week so I just tapedโ€ฆ
