I really wanted all my Apple devices to charge on the same base, but the watch charger has a critical design flaw...it just does it can't hold my 44mm series 6 watch in place for charging! The magnet is very weak. (The Apple charger audibly "snaps" with a magnet on the watch... it feels like it doesn't have a magnet at all.) Leaving it in place on the charger I can SOMETIMES get it to turn on To stay in place if I hold it absolutely still. But the slightest shock, like someone walking on the ground, displaces it so microscopically that it disrupts the charge. Even when charging, it does so at a SLOW rate...easily twice as long as an Apple charger. I like to wear the watch at night to track my sleep and heart rate, so fast charging is important. This charger doesn't usually charge at all, but even if it does, it's too slow to be useful.
