Do not care if it is raining or not, threw out my older black boots in favor of these, they are really nice-looking and fit really well, I had a hard time figuring out if a size 7 1/2 would be too large because I wear a size 7, anyway I wear a heavy pair of socks and got a plain foam insole and they feel as if I am wearing no shoes/boots at all. It is supposed to rain all next wk. asked it the goring was waterproof, it is not, so I sprayed mine with a waterproofing spray and will wear them on our walks when it happens, they are really great and not so expensive, husband is going to get a pair because he likes the look of mine, funny because he is REALLY picky !
