Review on πŸ–₯️ 27 Inch Display Acer R271 Bid - 1920X1080P, 60Hz, Tilt Adjustment - UM.HR1AA.001 by Keith Hardin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The attachment is not standardized, adapters are expensive

I installed it next to an HP L2335 that is over 10 years old, so my opinion on image quality is shaped by that. The picture is just better near L2335, they are very close, but everyone notices the difference. I've tried various sizing methods to make up the difference, to no avail so far. This brings me to the confusing and complex monitor settings controls. They're on the bottom, which I like, but they're very difficult to use. I've set up dozens of monitors, but every ACER monitor has the same crazy layout and control template for setting up the monitor. Finally, this monitor doesn't have a standard VESA mount on the back. If you want to install multiple monitors on the same stand, you need to buy an adapter. And be prepared to shell out money for those stamped pieces of metal. All this to say that I still think this is a 4 star monitor. Image quality is good to very good, and that's what really matters in a monitor.
