The belt itself is a cute idea. It isn't really wide but at 2.5 inches is enough to give some good lines to your body.A few items of note are while the belt fit when I got my normal size it wasn't long enough to double wrap for a cute bow, I had to knot and tuck the ends. But a single wrap left way too much strip that was too long and I really didn't like the idea of tying it in the backThe texture of the belt is nice the faux leather being smooth. I really liked the look it gives to a few of my outfits. If you tie it too tight though it will bunch so better to find a good in between spot. I followed a suggestion to tie it while seated and that helped get the best fit.
