I switched to an at home manicure myself and bought this as a test not knowing what to get. The base coat is awesome and feels tacky as usual but I apply it with gel polish and it's ok! The top coat is TOP! Three weeks and it's still shiny with no scratches, stains or scuffs. There aren't any sticky marks on the top layer after you've cured it, I don't know why it says so in the instructions. But not having to deal with it was an amazing added benefit! You only need a THIN coat. If you apply a thick layer it still dries quickly but has that "gel extension effect" that you might like on natural nails. I do it when waxing and then for extra support.
