Easy to use but glue is rubbish

I got this to get a small dent out of my tailgate. None of the colored adhesives have adhesive strength. I've tried both adhesives with different cure times and every time I put pressure on the tongue it just pops off the truck. . Glue has no adhesive properties at all. A kit can have a lot of great tools and options, but what's the point if the glue that comes with it doesn't actually work? I don't like it at all.
